Delete Your Relay Account

1. Open Relay and go to Profile.
2. Scroll to the Legal & account section.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

This takes effect immediately — there’s no waiting period and no need to contact support first.

If you’ve lost access to your device or can’t sign in, email [email protected] with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”from the email address on file, or include the mobile number registered on your account so we can verify it’s really you. We’ll acknowledge your request within 24 hours and complete it within 15 days, the same commitment given in our Privacy Policy’s Grievance Officer section.

• Your account and login (mobile number).
• Your profile — name, date of birth, bio, photos, and activity preferences.
• Your matches, chat messages, and community event activity.
• Device and diagnostic data tied to your account.

Some records can’t be deleted immediately because we’re legally required to keep them, or because deleting them would affect someone else’s own records:

• Payment and transaction records — kept for up to [7 years] after account deletion, for accounting, tax, and legal record-keeping under Indian law.
• Messages you sent to another user— a chat has two participants; deleting your account removes your profile and ability to access the conversation, but the other participant’s copy of the conversation is not deleted from their side.
• Records related to an open dispute, report, or legal obligation — kept only as long as that specific matter requires.
